Overview

DONE Sealed Brief is local software for law firms. Matter files and drafts stay on your Windows PC. This policy describes information we collect on donesovereign.com and through billing and support.

Information we collect

• Account and billing: name, work email, firm name, and payment details processed by Stripe when you start a trial or subscription.
• License activation: lease key and a one-time online validation request when you activate the app (no ongoing upload of matter content).
• Support: information you send to System.Core.Vault@pm.me.
• Website: standard server and analytics logs from our host (Cloudflare).

How we use information

• Provide trials, subscriptions, lease keys, and install instructions
• Process payments and send transactional email (e.g., welcome and billing notices via Stripe and Resend)
• Respond to support requests and improve the product
• Comply with law and prevent fraud

What we do not collect

We do not host your client matter files, brief text, or Inspection Export Packs on our servers as part of normal product use. Drafting and sealing run locally on your machine.

Sharing and disclosure

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Cloudflare — website hosting, API, and key registry (lease metadata only)
• Legal or safety requirements when required by law

We do not sell personal information.

Security

Secrets and API keys are stored encrypted at our host. Billing uses Stripe’s PCI-compliant checkout. Local matter data remains on your device under your control.

Retention

Billing records are kept as required for tax and accounting. Lease records are retained for the life of the subscription and a reasonable period after cancellation. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us.

Your choices

• Cancel your subscription anytime in the Stripe customer portal or by contacting support before renewal.
• Contact us to update account email or ask questions about your data.
